Zonnebloemen met blauwe lucht (40x31cm) olieverf op paneel
Pas vorige week heb ik dit mooie zonnebloemveld ontdekt. Op een plek waar de afgelopen jaren alleen gras stond. Het is een prachtig onderwerp.
Ik weet nu dat de bloemen niet met de zon meedraaien gedurende dag zoals ik weleens had gehoord. Want dan had ik dat tijdens het schilderen zeker gemerkt.

Only last week I discovered this sunflower field. In a place where there was only grass in recent years. It’s a beautiful subject.
I now know that the flowers do not rotate with the sun during the day as I had sometimes heard. Because then I would certainly have noticed that while painting.
